Sunwave sits right on Dhigurah Island, one of the most beautiful local islands in South Ari Atoll and a renowned hotspot for whale shark and manta ray encounters. The guesthouse is easily reached from Velana International Airport by a scenic domestic flight or seaplane transfer to a nearby hub followed by a short boat ride, or via a direct speedboat connection, with a shared speedboat transfer from Male being the most popular option for guests. Surrounded by turquoise lagoons and swaying palms, the island offers an authentic, laid back atmosphere while still placing guests close to some of the Maldives most exciting marine adventures.
