The name “Bageecha” is derived from the local vernacular for “Park or Garden” and also serves as the name of the Kid’s Club at Kuramathi Maldives.
Operating from 08:30hrs to 18:30hrs, Bageecha offers age-appropriate entertainment and activities for our younger guests. A comprehensive range of outdoor and indoor pursuits is organized for children aged 3 to 12 years, encompassing activities such as nature walks, treasure hunts, beach activities, and marine life education in conjunction with the resort’s Eco Centre. Additionally, Bageecha extends its operating hours from 18:30hrs to 24:00hrs upon prior reservation, subject to an additional charge.
Rasdhoo Divers has been providing exhilarating and secure dives for adventurous Kuramathi guests amidst the captivating marine life and warm waters of the Indian Ocean since 1994. Our seasoned, multilingual dive team offers a welcoming and professional service to our guests, while our enthusiastic instructors inspire beginners to explore this extraordinary aquatic realm while acquiring diving skills through SSI or PADI certifications. Experienced divers will also encounter challenging dives featuring a diverse array of sharks, mantas, turtles, rays, napoleons, barracudas, trevallies, and tuna, as well as numerous other intriguing inhabitants of the reef.
Our renowned Shark Point, situated just offshore from the celebrated Madivaru Reef, is conveniently accessible via an eight-minute boat ride from Kuramathi. Occasionally, fortunate advanced divers have the privilege of witnessing the magnificent Hammerhead sharks as the sun rises, making it one of the few remaining locations worldwide where these majestic creatures can still be observed.
The comfort and convenience of diving guests are guaranteed by our fleet of fast and modern dive boats, which enable us to reach over 20 local dive sites in an average boat ride of just 15 minutes. Additionally, our local Rasdhoo atoll excursions are complemented by half-day and full-day excursions to explore some of the most exceptional dive sites in neighboring North Ari atoll.
